Updates to Companies Act of 1985.
As of 1st January 2007 an update to the Companies Act of 1985 was put in place. All UK companies from this date are now legally obliged to include more information on their websites, email correspondence and other electronic documentation.
A penalty for non-compliance has been put in place of £1000 UK pounds sterling.
